Terms of Service
Effective date: [DATE]. These terms govern use of vettor.com and purchases from VETTOR LLC, a Texas limited liability company, [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Contact: legal@vettor.com.
1. Services
VETTOR provides supplier-verification reports, supplier monitoring, and post-fraud information support (together, the “Services”). Each order forms a contract when we confirm it in writing, incorporating the description and price on the relevant service page. Reports are delivered electronically within the stated turnaround, counted from receipt of all required documents and payment.
2. What the Services are — and are not
Reports are professional opinions based on the sources and methods described on our Integrations page, as at the report date. The Services are information products. They are not legal, financial, tax, or investment advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created. Verification reduces risk; it cannot eliminate it. We do not guarantee that any supplier is honest, solvent, or will perform, and we do not guarantee recovery of funds.
3. Your responsibilities
You provide accurate information and documents you are entitled to share; you use reports as one input in your own commercial decisions; you do not republish a report in full except within your own organization; you understand that registry data reflects public records which may lag reality.
4. Payment, refunds, and cancellation
Prices are as published at order. Full payment in advance for one-off reports; subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Refunds: if we cannot deliver the ordered report, you receive a full refund. If we have already commenced work, one-off reports are refundable at [50]% before delivery of findings and non-refundable after. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time before the next renewal; no partial-month refunds. If you believe a report contains a material factual error, see the Corrections process in our Editorial Policy — we will verify and, where warranted, correct and reissue at no cost.
5. Acceptable use
You will not use the Services or any report to harass, defame, or make public accusations against any named party, to compete with VETTOR by reselling reports, or for any unlawful purpose. Case-library content may be shared with attribution and a link.
6. Intellectual property
Reports and site content are owned by VETTOR LLC and licensed to you for internal business use. You may quote short excerpts with attribution.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the Services are provided “as is”; our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order; we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages, including losses arising from any supplier’s conduct, any decision you made in reliance on a report, or any inability to recover funds.
8. Indemnification
You indemnify VETTOR LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the Services, your publication of accusations against third parties based on our reports, or documents you supplied infringing third-party rights.
9. Governing law and disputes
Texas law governs, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Venue: state or federal courts in [COUNTY] County, Texas. Before filing suit, the parties will attempt good-faith negotiation for 30 days. Either party may elect binding individual arbitration under AAA rules for claims under $25,000.
10. General
We may update these terms; material changes are notified by email or prominent notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If any clause is held unenforceable, the remainder stands. These terms are the entire agreement for the Services.
